Power on the scan tool, and connect its information cable to the car's information port.3Select "PCM" from the scan tool's main menu. Select "Codes" after which decide on "Clear all existing and stored DTCs." Unplug the scan tool from the vehicle, and power it off.5Start the engine, and confirm that the engine light is just not illuminated.
